Call it the wisdom of crowds or strength in numbers, but four million happy clients can’t be wrong. Entrepreneur and Investor Scotland Visa (Tier 1)
To be eligible for a Scottish entrepreneur visa you must set up or take over a UK business with at least a £50,000 investment. For an investor visa you must have at least £1 million in a UK financial institution and personal assets of more than £2 million.
Skilled Work Visa Scotland (Tier 2)
To obtain a skilled work visa, applicants must first have an offer of employment in the UK with an employer who is willing to provide sponsorship. In addition, the position must be on the UK government’s skills shortage list. This is a register of vocations not currently filled by British residents and therefore open for international recruitment.
If your skill is not on this list then you can still obtain a Work Visa if your employer can demonstrate that they can’t source someone with your skills locally. To do this, the company must advertise the job opening for at least 28 days. If no suitable candidate is found then the company may proceed with your work visa application.
We work with both employers and candidates to ensure that this process runs smoothly and you can work in Scotland for as long as necessary. Our decades of expertise mean that we have the benefit of experience and can present your case in a way that convinces Scottish officials that the position needs to be filled by a foreign worker, and that you are the best skilled worker for the job.
Study Visa for Scotland (Tier 4)
To obtain a Scottish Study Visa, you must have recognised qualifications for your course, an offer to study from an approved UK educational institution, and proof of funds to support yourself.
Scotland Visa Requirements for Residency
To obtain residency you must successfully apply for an Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) Visa, which will allow you to stay in the country permanently. To do so, you must have lived in Scotland for at least 3 to 5 years, have spent only limited periods outside of the country, demonstrate a good level of English and a desire to make Scotland your permanent home.
These are just a few of the most popular Scottish Visas. With dozens of visa types for different situations, it can be difficult to find out which is the best for you. Our experts offer free assessments and consultations at the beginning of your case with us to find out more about you, your circumstances, your goals, and any possible links to Scotland to ensure that you enter the country on the right visa to suit your needs.
